This is how we work…
The foundation’s sole objective is to reveal God’s love for us. We pursue this goal through the use of our audiovisual productions and guided by the following principles:
.- We reveal God’s presence in today’s world: We don’t recall a god who “lived, did, said, or was,” but rather a God, who lives, does, says and is with us today.
.- Prayer, as a matter of course: It would be illogical to speak about God without speaking to God. We trust in Him and confirm His presence. He is not a spectator in our work; rather, we are spectators in His work. We can do nothing but make noise without Him. That is why we ask Him to bless each one of our viewers and us.
.- Our productions must invite reflection and an intimate encounter with God. Our stories are not based on religious themes, interesting as they might be, but subtly they invite the viewer to spiritual conversion.
.- We work to reach the individual viewer, not a mass audience. To reach that viewer, we do not limit ourselves to sheer entertainment – we introduce Jesus Christ to him/her. Therefore, we do not disguise, hide or conceal our Christian identity or the lessons of the gospel with the dishonest excuses of reaching a larger audience. In reaching the many, we would serve no one.
.- Our movies are for everyone just like the gospel. It would be illogical to direct them to a specific group of viewers, since Jesus Christ speaks to us all although he has a special interest in serving sinners, the weak, the ill, and the poor without imposing himself on them. We avoid boring or complicated story lines that are only suitable for a specific audience.
.- Demanding creativity in the development of scripts, production and distribution, striving to find innovative channels to reach our public. Weprotect our productions by keeping the creative aspect and the business aspect of our work separate.
.- We do not fear mistakes because our errors help us improve. We flee from the paralysis generated by the need for security, fear of criticism, laziness, or the lack of confidence in God. Let us go forward!
.- We look for the necessary financing to produce, distribute and promote each project in the best possible manner, without inflating the budget with extravagant demands or sacrificing quality in order to save on costs. We trust the generous support of people who share and love our mission and want to participate through their donations. We also establish financing agreements with co-producers (individuals or companies), distributors and TV channels, and solicit public financing, if any, as is the case with any cinematography production and distribution company.
.- We completely renounce financial gains – that is why we are a Foundation. First, we pay the production costs with donations from our supporters, partners, co-producers, or with presales of a project. The income generated from sales is divided among all agents involved: movie theatres, distributors, co-producers, and stores . . .. With the Foundation’s portion, we develop new projects to continue our mission; in addition, we designate 50% of our profits to initiatives on behalf of the poor or ill.
.- We are truly a family that grows around the world, open to anyone, without prior selection criterion. Our defining characteristics are as different as is every person who wants to join us. Everyone is welcome! NEVER, ANYONE, ALONE
